Gay Marriage

After a longer-than-expected delay, i present you with the next strip!

If you're curious, we will get to continuity and story-building in a bit. For now, though, some gags, while i flesh out Illustrator/my technique.

Enjoy!

Keep On Movin'

Based on a a true story, this is. Keep On Movin' is a song by one of my favorite bands, The Fabulous Rudies.
Since the comic is a lot shittier than I would've liked, I'll tell you a sentimental story about the Fab Rudies. When I was just a wee lad of 12 or maybe 13 I started going to San Diego's all-ages concert venue, SOMA. The first show I went to on a spur-of the moment decision to hang out with some kids from my school and it was a battle of the bands. There I was exposed to The Stranger's Six, but that's another story. Anyways, the first time I went to a show - it was at SOMA - for a band I actually knew, liked, and was planning on seeing was to see the River City Rebels. Opening for them was =The Phenomenauts= (who have a new CD out now/soon - order it!), and the Fabulous Rudies, San Diego Locals. Needless to say, I fell in love with all of the bands, and continue to enjoy all of them to this day.
So in short, The Fabulous Rudies were the first show i went to in San Diego.
No, that's not the whole story.
Last summer, my summer after senior year of high school, I got to go to Vans Warped tour on literally my LAST day in San Diego. Like, my grandma picked me up and drove me straight to the airport to go to Rochester, in western New York. And who should be the first band I got to see at Warped Tour '07?
The Fabulous Rudies.
It was a moving experience (pun FTW), seeing them for my first and last shows in SD, so I got a poster, had them sign it, and told them the story.

The moral of the story is that I lost that poster because I had some kid hold it for me and then I never saw him again.

In the future I will try to be less stupid while writing the news updates.

P.S. Yes, Prime is dancing in the last panel.
I'm to lazy to draw that shit, so I just motion blurred the shit out of it.
No complaining.

We're Back

After ages of delays and procrastination, both Lazer and I decided it was about fucking time to tuck down and put some serious balls-to-the-wall, full pull effort into TYC if we were going to pull it off.
That being said, he decided to write stuff that was actually funny, and I decided to draw shit that was actually... drawn well. So, what you see before you in the strip titled "Expecto Patronum" are steps in that direction; let it be known, though, that this one was written way back when... shit, almost a year ago, so it's not as funny as we're hoping future stuff will be.
Also, pretend like "Roomies" never existed.
Lazer and I are thinking about going in a new direction a far as the continuity between TYC and Optimus Prime is Drunk (our shared blog) and that strip - besides being ugly and not funny - is not compatible.
